This pillow case is made from handspun sheep wool woven on the backstrap loom. It features a plain weave as well as a pile weave. In Ladakh, plain weave is called "Gyerrey" and pile weave is called "tsug den". The pillow cases are woven and stitched by our team in Ladakh. The opening is at the back with an envelope closure. The back is made of handspun and handwoven indigenous undyed cotton from Gujarat. The pillow case comes with an insert.

The fabric and the dye will change over time - the silk is becoming softer and the dyes lighter. Please cold wash only with mild detergent and dry in the shade. Do not soak.
