This pillow case is made from handspun sheep wool woven on the backstrap loom. It features a very important design of the nomadic tribes from Changthang called "resso" which means goat teeth as well as the design "luk mik" which means sheep's eye. It is two lines close to each other. The pillow cases are woven and stitched by our team in Ladakh. The opening is at the back with an envelope closure. The back is made from handspun and handwoven indigenous cotton from Gujarat.

Please note: This product is entirely made by hand. Therefore, irregularities in thickness of yarn are characteristic to the craft of handspinning. The fabric and the dye will change over time - the silk is becoming softer and the dyes lighter.  Please cold wash only with mild detergent and dry in the shade. Do not soak.
