Our Eri silk masks are here! Made from the fabric we use for clothing, home textiles and also scarves. Most of the fabric is smaller leftovers from our garment production. Our masks are available in 7 colors: white (undyed), yellow (dyed with jackfruit bark), apricot (dyed with Indian madder), dark pink / light purple (dyed with lac), beige (dyed with Cutch), mustard (dyed with onion skins) and red (dyed with Indian madder). They are three layered: Eri silk on the inside and outside and between a thin cotton layer. These masks are no medical or surgical masks, just a classic fabric mask. There can be a slight variation in size of elastic (no more than 0.25 inch). If fitting too loose, the elastic can be adjusted by tying it with a string.
100% eri silk from Assam
when folded and laid flat: 5 inch in length and 5.5 inch in height
Please note: This product is entirely made by hand. Therefore, irregularities in thickness of yarn are characteristic to the craft of handspinning. The fabric and the dye will change over time - the silk is becoming softer and the dyes lighter. Please cold wash only with mild detergent and dry in the shade. Do not soak.
